Restoration & Refurbishment

As every rod is different its very hard to put a cost together for a restoration or a refurbishment project without examining the rod.

Difference between restoration and refurbishment

Restoration is to re-establish, or bring back to its former position whilst refurbishment is to rebuild or replenish with all new material; to restore to original (or better) working order and appearance.

B James Mark 4 Rebuild

Project involved a B James Mark 4 that had sustained flood damage and client was looking to have the rod restored to original condition.

After receiving the rod I decided to go for a complete strip down an rebuild using all the original hardware.

FIVE STAR REVIEW A massive thank you to Ryan for the brilliant work done on my vintage Walker Avon rod which had suffered some damage and deterioration. Really helpful and positive with exceptional communications throughout. Complete strip down and rebuild resulting in a very neat and tidy job and I can’t believe how good it now looks. Looking forward to using it for a bit of carp fishing next summer. Very reasonable price for what, to me, seemed like a huge project. Thank you, Ryan,

I have just received my Sowerbutts pole after your restoration work.

When I sent it too you I was not sure if it could be rescued, the quality of the work you have done is fantastic and I could not be more pleased with the outcome, the pole will now be good for another 100 years!
